- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆As others have noted, this woman is discourteous, abrupt and dismissive. We have had mail sent back, including mail order medicines, and have been charged postage due 3 times on packages that were in priority mail flat rate mailers stamped "US Postage and Fees Paid," that were sent to us as FREE SHIPPING from the merchants. On multiple occasions we got mail in our box that was addressed to other boxholders. Keep in mind, this is a very small post office, and the service issues occur year round, even in the "off season" months. We know that this is not the way the USPS conducts its business, as we have family members who have worked at the Quincy PO and Medway PO. These issues all started when the former Postmaster was displaced by the current employee. Before that, service was great.By grace diemand, August 06, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Rude, disrespectful and just plain out awful. My experience: Dropped my taxes off over a week ago with the thought it would be easier for them. WRONG! I call them over a week later to get an update on our taxes and they tell me they are extremely busy and that they would have some call me back, that call never happed so I call them back an hour later, they tell me again how busy they are. I tell the receptionist that I will be down to pick up my paperwork and go elsewhere if they haven't done them yet. I arrive 10 mins later and they hadn't even looked at them yet. I then ask the receptionist for an explaination on why my taxes haven't been looked at in over a week and she once again says: We are extremely busy (yet not a single person other than the 3 employees are there). I told her that answer is unacceptable because the only thing I'm hearing is that you are "too busy to do my taxes". She tells me: I'm not going to argue with you. I tell her that I'm not here to argue with you or anyone else and may I see a manager because I'm only asking a question that any other customer paying you $259.00 would ask. She points me to the manager and I ask her the same question and she replied: We are busy and because you dropped your taxes off, our clients taxes come first. WAIT! WHAT? I am hiring you to do my taxes, doesn't that make me a client too? She said, yes, you're a client, So I asked her: What am I missing here? She said, I'm not talking to you. Whoa! then her mother came over (they are a family operation). and said she would do them since she did them last year (only took 4 days last year). I asked her how long will they take, she said sometime next week. at that point I took them to Jackson-Hewitt at the nearby Walmart and had them done within a half hour and saved $80.00.in fee's compared to what I paid HR Block last year.
